Global citizens today live within the confines of spaces designed for a single purpose, rigid in both design and use. They commit to these spaces even as their needs and desires evolve. Living quarters haven't changed enough to meet our needs today and tomorrow.

Our Team
Elena
Elena is a founding member of Knit and an Architectural Designer with a passion for building infrastructures that shape future lifestyles.
Most recently Elena was Director of Design for Lyric Hospitality, where she led design and expansion on the East Coast. Prior to this, she was an Associate at Studios Architecture with a focus on commercial development, repositioning, and interior fitouts.
She holds a Masters Degree in Architecture from Parsons School of Design and is an Associate member of AIA. Over the last decade, her work has been featured in Interior Design Magazine and Architectural Digest, among other publications. She lives and works in New York City.
Rob
Rob is a founding member of Knit and a true creative designer, obsessed with innovative solutions to common world problems within the realm of physical space. He has over 15 years of experience both domestic and international for leading and well known brands Equinox fitness and Starbucks among others.
Recently he built and led the Interior Design and Architecture team at Lyric where he raised and set the design and guest experience bar for the short term rental category as a whole.
He is a firm believer that with design thinking one can solve almost any problem and is passionate about challenging the status quo.
Rob holds a Bachelors of Design with Honors from Massey University School of Design in Wellington New Zealand.
Ravi
Ravi is a founding member of Knit and a multidisciplinary brand and design leader, product developer, strategic thinker and thoughtful creative with over 20 years of industry experience.
He was most recently the Chief Experience Officer at Lyric where he defined and supported the company vision for the end to end guest experience.
During his career, Ravi has reinvented world-class brands including W Hotels, Westin, Aveeno, Cole Haan, and Jawbone. He believes that great storytelling creates great brands, and every interaction with the brand is an opportunity to connect with guests on a deeper, aspirational level. Ravi holds a BFA in Communication Design from Carnegie Mellon University and an MFA in Graphic Design from Yale University.
